First Annual General Meeting (AGM) January 2025

On Poush 29, 2081 BS (January 13, 2025), SSHIL successfully conducted its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Hotel Opera, Kanchanpur. This AGM was an important milestone, as it marked the formal gathering of shareholders to review the company’s performance and take collective decisions on its future strategies.

During the AGM, shareholders and management discussed several key topics crucial to the company’s growth:

• Presentation of financial results of FY 2080/81, highlighting the company’s early progress and outlining growth opportunities.
• Appointment of auditors for FY 2081/82 to ensure compliance and transparency in financial reporting.
• Election of board members to strengthen corporate governance and decision-making.
• Approval of a capital increment plan to support long-term expansion projects.
• Change of the registered company address to streamline operations and communication.
• Amendments to the Articles of Association to align with future strategies and evolving regulatory requirements.

The AGM also served as a platform for shareholders to directly interact with company leaders. They were given insight into SSHIL’s vision of becoming a leading hydropower investment company in Nepal. By addressing shareholder concerns and ensuring accountability, the AGM strengthened investor confidence.

This event demonstrated SSHIL’s commitment to strong governance practices, long-term planning, and its readiness for wider public participation through the upcoming IPO.
